I get questions in my e-mail everyday. People want to know, “how much does it really cost for website design?”

That is kind of a difficult question, because, there are so many variables to consider when building your webpages. What kind of graphics you want? Who are you marketing to, what level of quality did they expect?

Usually, I will turn the question back around to them and ask, “what is it that you were trying to achieve with this website?". While most people have a higher calling type response, when we get down to it, they are usually trying to make money.

Once we are all honest with each other, and we know that this person is trying to make money, I have to ask, how much money are you trying to make? With that number, I can then give them a much better estimate as to how much they will need to spend, and, what type of site they should build.
